1. People are seriously demanding the promised University of the hero of the land late John Muhima Kalekyezi which was proposed by president Museveni in 2012 in Nyakabande near the air field in Kisoro district. (JKIST)

2. That Tourism roads be constructed especially in parts of mgahinga and Bwindi national parks.

3. To solve the problem between Uganda and Rwanda

Many people including some leaders condemned these problems especially the Chairman Kisoro district Mr. Abel Bizimana condemned the silence of top leaders on JKIST project and tourism roads this was communicated through his official twitter account where he even displayed some photos of the bad roads.

He added Ani aloga Kisoro? We vote the best we lose magnetism to attract the president or his bounty. No JKIST, no Bukimbiri Constituency, Tourism roads stalled. What shall tell our voters?

For the businessmen whowere organising people to boycott Museveni's rally on 4th Dec 2019 said that they will mobilise more thousands of people not to vote Nrm and attending Museveni's rally because the area mp has already communicated that the rally will be there on 19th January 2019 which is not far, he added that "As long as our cries are heard and given serious attention, no body will stop this movement" because enough is enough!

Nyirakarire from chahi sub county which borders Rwanda, said that Rwanda is mainly home to the Bafumbira community who share a great deal of cultural heritage, including language with Rwanda. As such, some families in the area have relatives either side of the border and pay regular visits.

The motive of the dawn raid of Rwandans last week dissapointed us we saw hundreds of Rwandans being arrested in Uganda in recent years on unknown reason we nolonger go to Rwanda to see our sons and daughters working there because of hard situation around here, i failed to get natonal identification to allow her cross the border, but before she could simply go anyhowly peacefully and happier, pernow they are only praying nothing else but she said they have had Rwandans talking on radios but for Uganda no body can even say anything concerning Rwanda Uganda relations.

One businessman who refused to disclose his name said that the border was the center for all goods and many country nationals, especially Rwandans, who having no where else to sleep after a long days journey would sleep in their hotels but all this began spiraling downwards and  we used to rely on cross-border trade to make a living, now many of us are struggling to get supper yet we could be earning alot of money before, that he used to make 3 million shillings on every monday and thursday which were the market days.

In june this year when president Museveni visited Kisoro, he met the leaders of the region in Kabale and promised to do something towards solving this challenge however things are getting more worse day by day.
