FROM POLITICS MATEKE TAKES HATE IN KISORO BASED ANGLICAN CHURCH (MUHABURA DIOCESE

 

In the early month of September 2021 Kisoro Anglican church based (Muhabura diocese) announced early retirement of Bishop Cranmer Mugisha officially. This was confirmed by the diocesan secretary Reverend Stephen Ruzaza during an interview won Thursday 23rd September 2021 at the St Andrew’s Cathedral Seseme.

The above information was received with praise from people thanking Bishop Cranmer for managing the once disorganized diocese for period of thirteen years however the hate promoter Mateke after receiving this information, he started mobilizing people with hate speech and spearheading false information about Bishop’s retirement.

The hate promoter alongside his social media boys started spreading news that bishop’s retirement was about promoting so called blessed family nominee which is false, Mateke released a 44 paged document accusing people of being of same clan to manage the church.

Our media speaking to one Habiyaturemye from Busanza, he accused Mateke of being evil promoter and trying means of causing disputes within the diocese, Habiyaturemye said that Mateke has never stopped Ruzaza from being diocesan secretary, so why would he do so during his move for Bishop if at all it was true? 

This alone can prove that Mateke has interests in disorganizing the church, according to those near his village home many people who signed alongside Mateke to Archibishop were seen meeting him on daily basis before the letter appeared to general public.

According to different sources Mateke worshipers in different watsaap groups are busy attacking bishop including those believed to be next to her daughter who of recent won Mp race of Kisoro district. 

When this media tried out reaching the daughter of Mateke Hon Sarah Mateke to give views on these happenings, she was not available but we shall update after her giving a comment on the status of this problem.

Speaking to Rev Ruzaza about this event, he refused to comment but the person who was with him replied to us that a Bishop is chosen by God therefore it is not mandate of Cranmer those accusing him over that business are totally wrong.
