Many countries are trying to evacuate citizens from foreign countries. Uganda is not. Global alarm about the corona virus outbreak is still rising as many African countries evacuate their citizens from most affected countries. Several countries have evacuated citizens from Wuhan, the epicenter of the  corona virus outbreak but Uganda has not. The United Nations system, the International Monetary Fund, the World Bank and other official lenders and aid agencies moved   a giant scale so rapidly to provide relief to Uganda government, but it is very clear that these resources are being pocketed by Museveni and his officials. Uganda’s “inefficiencies” in screening truckers for Covid-19 threatens regional economic stability from virunga post.   Uganda’s carrying out of Covid-19 tests on truck drivers at border points is causing anxiety among East African countries, due to the fact it is “inefficient, inadequate, and poorly implemented,” according to truck drivers from different countries. On the Kenyan border side, fears are already looming that Uganda’s “poorly conducted testing” will bring about economic instability in the sub-region. Hundreds of trucks are stuck on portions of highway between Eldoret in Kenya and the border town of Malaba, creating a sea of diesel engines and goods. The consequences of Uganda’s actions are already being felt, as the regional supply chains have been disrupted. Trucks carrying essential commodities into Uganda itself and the rest of the Eastern African region are spending weeks at Ugandan borders of Malaba, Busia and Mutukula as a visit to the area will reveal. “

Museveni’s propaganda media brigade falsely claim that President Kagame is feared dead Operanewsapp.com, a state house sponsored propaganda online news outlet has insanely published an article in which they falsely allege that President Paul Kagame of Rwanda is feared dead.  In an article published on Saturday 9th May on  this website, one of the several sponsored by Ugandan Military Intelligence (CMI) and state house Uganda wrongly published an article in which they narrated how the President has been absent from public events for a while now, concluding that it’s because he is either unwell or isolating from Covid-19. The same outlet does not know what exactly to report because they say death, isolation, injury and being under pressure from the members of the military in the same article. The most funny thing about this article is that it was published on the day and time President Paul Kagame who is the Commander In Chief of Rwanda Defense Forces was officiating a periodic meet

Yes due to deteriorating fiscal positions and increased public debt some East  governments e.g Uganda & Burundi  the region do not have much room for wiggle in deploying fiscal policy to address the COVID-19 crisis however the region had managed to deal with this pandemic basings on skills obtained by health workers from past epidemics (Ebola & HIV AIDS) The EAC leadership of President Kagame has aim
