MUSEVENI IS DISTABLISING EAST AFRICAN REGION

Ugandan President Yoweri Museveni has continously ignored to make a push for resolving crossborder trade.For three years now the Katuna and Kyanika cross bordersw have remained closed distabllising trade in both countries.

Rwanda accusses Museveni for supporting and backing rebels which he Museveni openly acknowlegdes through his army boys for example Maj Gen Abel Kandiho who got the promotion because of the deals of arresting and confiscating properties that belonged to Rwandese staying within Uganda.

Almost 6 years ago, Museveni returned the favour by arming and supporting Rwandan rebels led by Rwandese army deserter Gen Kayumba Nyamwasa this was done through different Ngos and issuing identifications to refugees who were able to speak Kinyarwanda.

At the end of 2016 general elections in Uganda, some news started whisppering within the population that there was going to be a war in areas of Kabale, Rubanda Rukiga Ntungamo and Kisoro, according to residents of Rubaya in Kabale district military officials started appearing in big numbers around evenings to arrest people who could be bording boda boda (motorcycles) to enter Uganda. 

The same scenario was taking place in parts of Murora Sub county in Kisoro district, and hundreds of people were arrested including those who used to trade with pwople from Rwanda, the then minister of regional affairs Mateke Philemon was spearheading the move in the region.

 The groups of rebels who used to sleep mubano hotel belonging to Philemone Mateke was always seen by residence of Kisoro, one captain Nshyimiye alias Guvnor had been given a house to rent in Natete along Bunagana road, this very group was reported be the one which have carried out acts of terrorism inside Rwanda, they carried out grenade attack in Kigali, they have carried out attacks in the north of country, they have carried out attacks in the south of country, and these groups carrying out the activities are in Uganda seemingly freely to do each and everything.

Since the two countries involved in a dispute prices of basic good have increased considerably on the both Ugandan and Rwanda sides living near the border, many of Uganda's companies for example cement manufacturers among others were badly affected.

As of today there is a fear again among people in Uganda's intelligence bodies whispering news that Museveni is using Dr Congo to attack Rwanda the move spearheaded by Gen Saleh based in Gulu barracks division four, this proves that the dispute between the two countries is not yet over, with their sizeable military forces and spy network increasing in both countries could plunge the region into a fresh crisis.

Kagame feels Museveni behaves as if Rwanda is not a sovereign country, that Rwanda is a province of Uganda, on the other hand, Museveni thinks every country should depend to him because he Museveni has even now attacked, Museveni has been meddling in other people's politics for long and this has to end.

Museveni is becoming a big challenge to the regional peace, of recent Kenya attacked him for meddling within their politics, by allying with deputy president william Ruto, this is creating bad blood between kenyans and Ugandans had grown in last week, prompting fears that the row would threaten regional commerce and ensnare neighbouring countries due to Museveni's behaviour.

It’s important to understand that both Museveni and Kagame are military men who came to power by leading armed rebellions and overthrowing their predecessors, therefore Museveni should stop fighting Rwandans or taking them as inferiors they have resorted to peaceful moves over arrest and torture of their citizens but one day they may hit Museveni badly.
