IN UGANDA, ANYTHING CAN HAPPEN.

Some one's child can be murdered, his head brought to the Speaker of Parliament as a gift & Ugandans will never get bothered as long as they sell their vote for a sachet of waragi or 500 grams of salt!

 Hundreds can be murdered, senior government officials assasinated, women kidnapped & rapped, only to hear that the files of those cases have disappeared as the gullible population comfortably sings no change!

 The churches can be demolished with protection from security. As long as religious leaders worship those in power after being corrupted by handouts in brown envelope, the men of God cruising in brand new Pajeros donated by the very sharks, the flocks can go to hell, their church buildings, like one of Ndeeba can perish!

 Medicine can be stolen from public hospitals, money for roads, water etc stolen & the thieves will be glorified as hardworking, they will sit in the comfort of the front seats in the places of worship, as long as men of God are as compromised as Judas Isecariot, who sold Jesus for pieces of Silver & gold, justice can go to hell. 

 The Universities can be burnt for whatever reasons that be, in any case, education documents can be forged at Nasser road.

When jobs are offered on technical know who instead of technical know how and you have a President whose education credentials are a nightmare, with a minister of Education having been awarded a Degree in Education without doing teaching practice, education becomes as useless as the government itself!

 If the schools were burnt & the parents were mute, the markets burnt & traders remained silent, the teachers money stolen & teachers went into hibernation, the senior policemen shot dead, & police never investigated, Why can't the university be burnt? Why can't the emperor plunder with impunity & without remorse?

 People can die of Covid 19 in the name of lining behind their candidates in NRM primaries which sadly produce winners as losers & losers as winners, provided the President is a sole candidate, the wretched of the earth can be left to die like helpless lamb.

 The youth can be unemployed with no jobs, a few can be hoodwinked as crime preventers only to be dumped after elections, others can manouver their way abroad for voluntary slavery where many die like rats, after all the sons of those who matter have nice jobs. If those who purportedly fought for us though not with our consent can have their sons in juicy jobs, the rest of the youth can wait to become their shamba boys, housemaids & gate keepers!

Being pregnant can become a death sentence as women die while giving birth. As long as they vote Museveni purportedly for removing them from the kitchen, their lives can wait, removing them from the kitchen is good enough that they can lose the rest including their lives.

The security agencies can be so brutal against innocent citizens fighting for their welfare, they can transfer the anger of poor working conditions to the innocent citizens who  are too victims of bad governance as if they don't see the reality that change is inevitable.

The learned judges, professors and other elites can make themselves dumb & submissively accept to be manipulated by the less knowledgeable. In the face of evil money, they betray their  conscious, stumble on their own oarth, speak in tongues & finally ruin their own country

The elders & veterans can afford to smile even when their pension is stolen, their land can be grabbed to establish large farms of those they fought for, after all Museveni went to a super market & procured for them peace, with this peace,  everything can be left to go!

The education system can produce half baked professionals, engineers whose buildings collapse, doctors who steal medicine from the patients, security officials who kill those they are meant to protect, lawyers who cheat their clients, politicians who are con men, those less skilled in scam can be  consumed in gambling & prostitution, after all they are products of UPE & USE where they learnt nothing & forgot nothing!

Ugandans will abandon politics, leave it for the selfish people, & later blame it for being a dirty game. Without thinking about how to clean it, we are like young monkeys which laughed at a burning forest, we forget that everything rotates around politics & so politics determines how much we can develop!

Because we are doomed, irrepairably doomed, even when a good leader like Mugisha Muntu shows up, even when a good organised party like ANT shows up, we reject them. We claim their politics can't work here, they are good for USA, Canada & not Uganda, yet we admire those good countries. We admire good prosperous countries but choose bad leaders, demand for services but vote or join bad parties, what madness that we sow bad seeds expecting to reap good harvests? 

Like the bible says that, "they have eyes, they don't see, they have ears they don't hear" so we are! By accepting the reality, that the quality of leaders we choose will determine the Uganda we get, is when we can start thinking before we act (vote) instead of thinking after we have voted.
