Analysing Museveni's visit to Gatete Catholic church Murora Subcounty Kisoro District:

H.E Museveni visited Murora to supposedly thank the people of Murora for voting him and the NRM party in the 2016 general elections. Below are some of the very important points to note;The turn up of the people was left wanting in a place that supposedly supports Museveni and his party enormously, the crowd at the rally was well between 1000-1500 people most of whom were holiday students. Attracting such a small crowd in a place (over 20,000 registered voters) one claims to enjoy massive support leaves many unanswered questions on Museveni's diminishing popularity.Another point of interest is seeing people going about their business when their most "Loved" is coming to visit them; people from all other parts of Kisoro especially in town was going around their business as though nothing had happened. More interesting though were the people from areas near Gatete where the rally was to be who were busy harvesting their crops and some young men busy gambling and drinking waragi at the trading center less that 1km from the venue we have photos of them in their gardens to prove our claim.

Museveni's rush hour visit on short notice was more to do with the smuggler who had been shot from Rwanda, evil senile Mateke lied to Museveni that Bafumbira were angry with Rwanda and this would rally them behind Museveni.The speaker of Kisoro District Council had thought he would make political capital from the shooting of the smuggler who was from Murora by appearing on Voice of Kisoro along with Mateke's daughter taking to incite Bafumbira against their Rwandan neighbors. On failing to to the speaker who also has intentions to contest for Bufumbira East constituents in which yesterday's rally was shied away from the rally at Gatete.

As the president gave his speech the faint hand claps said a lot about peoples impression about whatever the president talked about. He reluctantly talked about the un fullfilled JKIST, Tourism roads, Bukimbiri constituency in a way that showed complete lack of commitment on his part to honor those pledges. He never talked about the border closure that has hurt the community neighboring Rwanda of which Murora is one of the most affected. He instead promised 10million shillings to the family of one of Murora's residents who was shot and killed smuggling drugs and illicit products to Rwanda.

Let me conclude by showing how ungrateful HE Museveni is or can be;He claimed to have come to thank the peopleof murora for having voted him and his party overwhelmingly in the 2016 and gave the following gifts

1. 10 cows to Murora

2. 50 million shillings pledge to Gatete Catholic Church

The above are about 65 million shillings in total.

If one makes a comparison to the above with what he has given to a handful of musicians to divert them away from People Power,

5. Ronald Mayinja - Landcruiser V8 worth 600m

He has spent over two billion shillings on we Ugandan tax payers money on these few cheap musicians and fails to spend even 100 milliond shillings on tens of thousands of voters who overwhelmingly voted for his in 2016 100%. If this is not hypocrisy and outright disrespect, what can one call it? Your guess is as good as mine. The honest truth to people of Murora and Bafumbira in general is that Museveni takes us all for granted and is very sure whatever he does we shall vote him ijana kwijana. regarding us as fools.My request is for us to disprove him and vote against him overwhelmingly these coming

elections.
